Adventure Awaits You

This Project started out as a documentation of travels across the video-gaming scene, however, it became something much more meaningful. My photography became a way of showcasing the way that online stars and idols are represented by the public. 

 

As online stars are becoming more popular than mainstream celebrities among most teens today in the 21st century, the impact of these Online stars is phenomenal. What makes them an "Online Star"? Their distinctive personality gains them notoriety! People will watch more for their personality than for the content of their social media platform.

 

I am noticing this trend as I am one of them. I feel like I am the best person to tell this as I am actually living this scenario, it's still happening and it's something I would love to tell people and hope they get experiences from this story.​ This project documents myself and a fellow "Online Star" and our journey together on this digital realm.

The title of this project was inspired by a fortune cookie I ate whilst travelling around the world. It describes everything perfectly.
